Ambient is the leading international trade fair and the world’s number one in products associated with dining, cooking, household, goods, gift, items, jewellery, fashion accessories, interior decorations, ideas for home and furnishing accessories. In 2017, Ambiente featured around 4,460 exhibitors and attracted more than 100,000 trade visitors from 154 countries. This year, Ambiente 2018 had featured around 4,441 exhibitors from 89 countries and had attracted 140,000 trade visitors, making it an increase of 40,000 from last year. Since 1949, Messe Frankfurt has been an established partner for 260 guest events per year. At the same time, Messe Frankfurt is also a strong service partner in terms of providing individual consulting services, and it is also one of the most state-of-the-art infrastructures of any trade fair worldwide.
Last February, our lady boss Jasmine, went on an extravagant trip and visit to Ambiente 2018 at Frankfurt where she discovered new concepts and inspirations, in hopes of bringing new ventures and opportunities to our homeland Singapore.
Ambiente 2018 was no less than amazing. Filled with interesting finds and colours that brighten the whole atmosphere, it’s a place that every designer that has ever dream of.
The trade show not only feature ideas and concepts for products and interior, events such as interviews and fashion shows were also introduced. Featuring some of the collection from designers that were also there to witness the event.
With so much happening at Ambiente 2018, we are certain that everyone’s excited to see what’s in store for Ambiente 2019! According to Messe Frankfurt, a new hall will be open during autumn 2018.
Hall 12 is Messe Frankfurts’s answer to the challenges of the future. The opening of Hall 12 this fall will make Ambiente 2019 a venue for redevelopment across the site an investment in the future of supply and demand. The new Hall 12 will be ahead of its time in technical matters and will set standards, for instance, in energy consumption, and in the production of solar power. Ambiente will use the opening of the new building as an opportunity for fundamental restructuring in 2019, so it will become fit for the future across all product groups.
Changes in the Dining area
From Ambiente 2019 onwards the entire Sourcing Dining area will be concentrated on 4 levels in Hall 10. A new feature in Hall 10.2 will be called Premium. This is where selected exhibitors from Global Sourcing Dining will present all relevant dining product ranges.
The new Kitchen Houseware Express will provide visitors with a direct non-stop link between Hall 12 and Hall 13, connecting the two areas in both directions.
New Structure at Living/Giving
The new structure will provide fresh stimuli among national and international buyers, create opportunities and synergies and strengthen growing product segments. Interior and Decoration in hall 9.0 will feature interior design and hybrid collections, compromising both design and gift items in two seasons.
Hall 9.1 will accommodate Interiors & Seasonal Decorations, while Hall 11.0 and 11.1 will cover gift ideas such as traditional gifts, souvenirs, jewellery and fashion accessories. The area of Global Sourcing Living/Giving will mainly be situated in Halls 9.2 and 9.3.
