Spring-Cleaning Made Easy

If your refrigerator smells…

Scrunch some newspapers and spritz them with water. Tuck the newspaper balls into corners and drawers overnight to absorb the stench. For odour prevention, use sheets of newspapers to line drawers; replace every couple of weeks.

If your bathtub is clogged…

Experts warn that chemical drain cleaners may damage pipes. Use a baking soda cocktail to keep your bathtub clog-free. Pour 1/2 cup of soda into the drain, followed by 1/s cup of vinegar. Allow the mixture to react for 5min. Pour a full kettle of boiling water into the drain. You can use this method on clogged kitchen sink pipes, too.

Your stove has left-over spills…

Soak a few cloths in hot water and place them over the left-over grime for about 15min, then wipe off the debris.
