Founded in 1960, Gautier has since mastered the art of furniture-making by upholding the values it was founded upon: humility, harmony and honesty.
At a time when many businesses are shifting their production overseas, Gautier is taking a step in the opposite direction by ensuring that its raw materials are sourced locally. Over 930 individuals across its three manufacturing sites in the Vendée region are employees of Gautier.
A leader of French aesthetics, the Gautier Group also helps protect forests by manufacturing its furniture from wood sourced in sustainably managed forests or from recycled scrap wood. In November 2012, Gautier was awarded PEFC certification, which promotes the traceability of wood and sustainable forestry management.
Today, the Gautier network comprises over 100 stores in France and abroad, owing to customers’ preference for the expertise and French standards of excellence that have been important to Gautier ever since its foundation.
The opening of the Gautier Singapore showroom at Tampines marks the second Gautier store in Southeast Asia, after Manila.
