Transat Armchair, Ecart

Lauded as the “Chanel” of furniture, Ecart’s Gallic philosophy is about creating and reviving timeless designs manufactured by the highest standards. Its collection of re-editions offers creations from design greats such as Eileen Gray and Jean-Michael Frank. Design aficionados will adoringly approve that the Transat armchair created by the architect and designer Eileen Gray is one of the best representations of early 20th Century furniture design. It was conceived in 1927 and is produced by Ecart to its exacting standards and details till this day. The sculptural armchair is made of natural beech wood or a choice of black lacquered. Its adjustable back cushion upholstered in leather or linen pumps up the luxury quotient of this timeless design. We love the galvanised metal connectors, black leather covering and moving head-piece that make this princely armchair a heart-stopping beauty.

Ecart is available at P5.
